The Gift of Going Deeper
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that connection doesn’t always look the way I imagined it would.
Children grow up and build lives of their own. Friendships evolve. Some relationships become stronger, while others naturally fade. Every season has a way of reshaping the people around us and our place within those relationships.
What I’ve discovered is that connection isn’t about having the biggest circle. It’s about finding the people who truly know you, letting go of the pressure to stay connected to everyone, and embracing the relationships that bring depth, encouragement, and joy.
That’s one of the reasons I started Seasoned Silver Tsunami.
I’m still figuring out exactly what this will become. A blog. Conversations. Podcasts. Shared stories. Maybe something I haven’t even imagined yet.
What I do know is this: life’s richest relationships aren’t defined by how long we’ve known someone or how many people are in our circle. They’re built on authenticity, shared experiences, and a willingness to keep growing together.
That’s the kind of connection I hope we all continue to find.
I’ve learned that going deeper is far more fulfilling than simply staying connected.
